Cleaning before Heat Treating

Do your parts need to be thoroughly cleaned before going into a process of heat treating?  AEC Systems has designed and built washers with four steps inside a small footprint (all depending on your basket size).  The parts are cleaned by submersion, spray washed, rinsed, and then dried. For vacuum heat treating, it is critical to have clean parts prior to processing. If oil quenching is used, these washers can be used for a post clean process as well.

This washer happens to be pit mounted to interface with the automated heat treat system by SECO Vacuum Technologies. The parts are fed into the washer, the vertical door closes, and the cleaning cycle begins. After approximately 20 minutes, the basket of parts is ready for the next process.
